What is mobility and why is it so important?
In a sentence it is the ability to move a joint through its full range, pain free. Now ask yourself this, do you struggle to squat properly or pain free? Have you stopped to consider a) why this is and b) what it stops you doing?

What is the best way to prevent lower back pain you may ask. To answer simply, it is getting the pelvis and hips to move the way they are supposed to, through a full range, whilst ensuring the soft tissue (muscles) are flexible and strong enough to do so.

The same applies, in large, to other joints and movements: Shoulder or wrist pain with press ups. Knee pain with lunges. Now of course, some issues may have deeper cause and this isn't the ‘cure’ to ALL pains. But, I guarantee you will move better and therefore train better meaning your results will be better!

There is extensive scientific evidence that proves the greatest strength gains and weight loss occur if you perform all of your movements through FULL Range of Motion (ROM). Now ask yourself again, is your mobility really that important?

In our Mobility Class you will be instructed on various movement enhancing techniques, myofascial  release work in a FUNCTIONAL way. All by our qualified Sports Therapist and Crossfit trainer Hat.
